Travels with Tex

When I first got to Lexie’s house I played with Lola, Lexie’s dog. After that we played tag. I was “it” first. For dinner I got pasta and flies. It was really good.
The next day while Lexie was at school, I watched Lexie’s mom draw pictures. When Lexie got home we played and then we ate snakes. After that I helped Lexie with her homework, but there was a problem: the pencil and pen were too big for my hand, so I watched some TV instead. When Lexie was done with homework, we played.

Hi, I’m Tex Turtle. I just learned that I’m going to be living with the 4th graders. All summer long I have wondered what the 4th graders would be like and I am looking forward to some new adventures, not that my summer has been totally boring.  I actually had a wonderful summer. When it wasn’t raining, which it tended to do quite a bit this summer, I spent my time basking by the pond or swimming with the Koi. Please follow me throughout the year as I get to visit with all the 4th graders.
